CASTING BACK IN TIME

I loved your Endpapers, “Trout Reading in America.” It reminded me of a wonderful year I spent in northern Italy with one of the world’s most amusing trout fisherman, Stephano Riga. He told me that the British use the term killing instead of catching when it comes to fishing: “We killed 12 trout today.” I used to watch him tie flies for hours on end.
Anyway, thanks for an enjoyable few minutes and a reminder of Hemingway’s great story.
