SCC Pitcher Deushane Signs With Braves

Mark Deushane, a senior right-hander from Southern California College, signed with the Atlanta Braves as a free agent Wednesday.

Deushane, 23, will join the Braves’ Class-A team at Bradenton, Fla., today. A 6-foot 4-inch graduate of La Habra High School, Deushane was 8-7 this year with an earned-run average of 1.59.
