Ashton-Tate Corp. announced plans to establish a manufacturing operation in Swords, Ireland, that will be responsible for duplicating, assembling and packaging all Ashton-Tate software products for Europe and the Middle East. Located in a 50,000-square-foot facility, the plant is expected to be in operation by this summer and will employ more than 50 people.
