Woodbridge’s Boyd Is Pacific Coast’s MVP

Tiffany Boyd, who led Woodbridge High School to the Pacific Coast League softball championship, was named the league’s most valuable player in a vote of the league’s coaches.
Boyd, a senior, was 8-1 as a pitcher and also hit .407. She has signed a letter of intent to play at UCLA next season. Boyd was joined on the first team by teammates Kim Dean, Mary Dugard and Kim Johnson.
