Granger Is Named Orange League’s Player of the Year

Michele Granger, who led Valencia High School into the semifinals of the Southern Section 3-A softball playoffs, was named the Orange League’s player of the year by a vote of league coaches.
Granger, a senior, was 22-4 with 449 strikeouts and 9 no-hitters--including three perfect games--this season. In her four-year career, she was 71-27 with 1,635 strikeouts and 36 no-hitters.
