Measure A Sparks Debate Over Growth and County’s Future
If the pictures (May 29) of the intersections demonstrating congestion in north Orange County compared to the unincorporated areas in south Orange County are an example of the truthfulness of the statements made by opponents of the slow-growth initiative, then voters beware.
I live right around the corner from the picture used as an example of the unclogged intersection in the unincorporated south. The rest of the street shown at the bottom of the picture has been barricaded for months, thus preventing through traffic. Pretty easy to get a picture showing no traffic when the street is not a through street. That street has been barricaded or disrupted for the better part of two years due to construction in one area or another.
If we’re going to be truthful in this debate, show Crown Valley Parkway anywhere, anytime or the right turn at Moulton Parkway at 5 p.m. Let’s keep this debate honest.
