Body Discovered in Encinitas Ravine

The body of an unidentified Latino man was found in an Encinitas ravine Sunday.
A 14-year-old boy who was riding his bicycle near Ecke Ballpark in the 400 block of North Saxony Road reported the discovery at 1:30 p.m., said sheriff’s Sgt. Suzanne Hatcher.
The fully clothed body was found in some bushes, and may have been there as long as a week, Hatcher said.
An autopsy was to be performed today.
