RIDE REVIEW : Bigfoot Rapids, uh, It’s Sort of Scary

Bigfoot Rapids, Knott’s Berry Farm’s new ride, ranks on the excitement scale well below such white-knuckler roller coasters like Disneyland’s Space Mountain and Matterhorn and Knott’s own Montezooma’s Revenge.
Still, there are enough bounces, twists and turns to warrant a 30-second taped disclaimer that repeats--endlessly--at the entrance, warning away anyone not “in good health, free from heart and nervous disorders, weak back or neck or other physical limitations,” as well as expectant mothers and, presumably, aquaphobes.
