Advanced Micro Devices of Sunnyvale said it has promoted two veteran employees to the rank of vice president. Merrill Hammon, 45, was named vice president of San Antonio wafer fabrication operations and Daniel C. Hu, 44, was promoted to vice president of wafer fabrication operations for Sunnyvale and Santa Clara.
