A rock climber was killed in Yosemite National Park when he fell 2,000 feet off the huge granite slab known as El Capitan. Park rangers said the victim may have been hit by a falling rock before tumbling to his death. The name of the victim was withheld pending notification of relatives. It was the first climbing death in the park since last September.
