Local News in Brief : Curb on Golf Cart Permits Will End

The moratorium on golf cart permits in effect in Avalon since December, 1987, will end in June. The City Council directed that an ordinance terminating the moratorium be prepared for its next meeting on June 8. Golf cart permits will be available for personal use. Commercial-use permits will continue to be tightly regulated.
