Southern Section Baseball Playoffs

Crossroads 4, Oak Park 0--Jon Daley hit a double in the fifth inning for Oak Park’s only hit off freshman D. J. Sutton.

Sutton (8-3) needed only 74 pitches and limited the Eagles (11-7-2) to four baserunners. Steve Solomon hit a solo home run in the third inning and a run-scoring double in the fifth. Andrew Bernstein and Anthony Storm hit run-scoring singles in the second as Crossroads (19-10) took a 2-0 lead.
