Backup on the Ventura Freeway
Once again Caltrans officials have shown contempt for the California motorist. They issued a permit to KIIS-FM to park a van on the Louise Avenue overpass on the Ventura Freeway.
Traffic was backed up over 15 miles while the KIIS employees smiled and waved at the drivers in the backup.
Believe me, there was nothing bright about spending an extra hour in stop-and-go traffic because some radio station wanted to boost its ratings.
Traffic at that time of the morning is precarious at best.
