Local News in Brief : Park Restrooms for Disabled

Construction of restroom facilities for the handicapped at four Manhattan Beach parks is set to start next month.
The City Council awarded a contract this week to Hines Construction, which will also upgrade plumbing and install wall and floor tiles at restrooms at Live Oak Park, Sand Dune Park, Polliwog Park and Manhattan Heights Park for a total cost of $79,899.
The work is scheduled to be completed by August.
