“An Afternoon at the Kentucky Derby” race viewing and silent auction on May 7 netted $10,000 for the Carmen Chapter of the Guilds of the Orange County Performing Arts Center. Maryanne Kandel was chairwoman.
A May 2 golf tournament netted $14,000 for the Huntington Harbour League of Interval House. Kathy Elliott and Joe Garafalo were co-chairmen.
The “Cinderella Ball” dinner/dance on May 7 netted $30,000 for the Cinderella Guild-Juniors of Childrens Hospital of Orange County. Barbara Poliquin was chairwoman.
