Walt Disney Co. called a lawsuit filed Tuesday by MGM/UA Communications and MGM Grand “totally without merit.” The suit accuses Disney of breaching a contract with MGM by building hotels as part of a Florida attraction called the “Disney-MGM Studio Tour.” MGM sold Disney the right to use the MGM name for such an attraction but contends that building hotels near the attraction violates the agreement.
