Solidarity leader Lech Walesa told tens of thousands of worshipers at an outdoor Mass in Gdansk, Poland, that Poles will “give their all” for the country only when their rights are ensured. “Workers and students keep Solidarity young and understand that only solidarity of people and social groups can be the key to overcoming the crisis in our homeland,” said Walesa, who spoke for about 10 minutes at the end of the Mass.
