Local News in Brief : Grant to Medical Researcher

For the second consecutive year, the March of Dimes Birth Defects Foundation is funding a research project by Dr. Rebecca Sokol at the Research and Education Institute of Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Torrance.

The foundation presented a $10,000 check to Sokol, who is trying to determine whether aluminum is toxic to the male reproductive system.
