Defensive tackle Keith Millard of the Minnesota Vikings hit a nightclub patron three times after telling him he was “moving too slow,” a prosecutor said in opening arguments at Millard’s assault trial in Chaska, Minn.
The 6-foot 5-inch, 260-pound Millard then grabbed Dean Roeglin by the throat and inflicted a “head butt” that injured Roeglin’s nose, according to prosecutor Susan Crumb.
The defense has said Millard acted in self-defense.
