Northridge Drops Tennis Playoff, 5-3

Cal State Northridge picked up three points in singles play but Cal State Los Angeles defeated the Lady Matadors, 5-3, Wednesday for fifth place in the NCAA Division II tennis championships at Sonoma State.
Kaliko Yandall defeated Jennifer Choy, 6-2, 6-1, and Suzi Izmirian and Kris Anderson also picked up singles victories for Northridge.
Missy Conn, CSUN’s No. 1 singles player, suffered blisters on her right foot in the second set and was unable to finish her match.
