I want to commend Mathis Chazanov for his article on the “Growth of Orthodox Jewry Alters Face of Community” (Metro, May 1).
As an individual involved on a daily basis in and with the Orthodox community, I observe that Los Angeles and adjacent communities are seeing an influx of Orthodox Jews moving West because synagogues, schools, businesses, etc. that constitute the framework of a vibrant community are opening in all areas of Southern California.
