Christiana Cos. reported a third-quarter loss of $305,000 on sales of $953,000, compared to a $155,000 loss on $2.5 million in sales over the same period ended March 31 last year.
For the nine months, Christiana’s loss stood at $473,000 on revenue of $3.2 million, compared with a loss of $1.4 million on sales of $25 million over the same three quarters last year. The decline in sales this year over last was due to Christiana having completed sales last year of a major condominium project.
This year’s nine-month loss includes the effects of the home builder’s $516,000 payment in settlement of a wrongful-death lawsuit.
