Pasadena soprano Angelique Burzynski and New York mezzo Ning Liang won the top awards in the 16th annual Zachary Society National Vocal Competition, held Sunday afternoon at Ambassador Auditorium, Pasadena.
Sopranos Brenda Wimberly, Los Angeles, and Judy Berry, New York, won achievement awards.
