Royal 1, Simi Valley 0--Missi Cress scored the only run on a fielder’s choice in the fourth inning of the Marmonte League game at Rancho Simi Park.

Teammate Danielle Devan allowed four hits, struck out six and walked two for Royal (18-7, 8-4).

Notre Dame 4, Bell-Jeff 2--Notre Dame rallied for three runs in the third inning and Becca Berline tossed a two-hitter in the San Fernando Valley League finale.

Alemany 2, Chaminade 0--Melanie Howard threw a two-hitter as Alemany strengthened its hold on second place in the San Fernando Valley League.

Burroughs 6, Alhambra 0--Christy Alves and Dana Smock combined on a two-hitter for the Indians in a Foothill League game.

Birmingham 10, Cleveland 7--Ellen Tauber homered, tripled and knocked in two runs and Birmingham held off a five-run Cavalier rally in the seventh.

Reseda 10, Canoga Park 8--With the Regents’ top pitcher absent, Dolores and Donna Leon combined for the win in a playoff at El Camino Real to determine which West Valley League team would advance to the City Section 4-A Division playoffs.

Agoura 3, Santa Clara 0--Melissa Thatcher pitched a one-hitter as Agoura clinched a share of the Frontier League title.

Oak Park 4, Moorpark 3--Cristen Castner and Leslie Wilcox scored the tying and winning runs on a dropped fly ball in the seventh inning.

Montclair Prep 22, Marshall Fundamental 3--K. C. Mancebo hit a two-run double to lead a 12-run rally in the second inning of the Alpha League game.
