LONDON — A fire Tuesday caused extensive damage to a 12th-Century church that had been partially destroyed by the Great Fire of 1666, which destroyed half of London.
The church was rebuilt in 1676 by famed architect Christopher Wren.
The three-hour blaze Tuesday destroyed most of the roof and a four-story belltower at the St. Mary-at-Hill church.
