Loral Corp.’s income rose 29% to $74.3 million in its fiscal year ended March 31. The New York-based company, which designs and manufactures defense electronics, said revenue for fiscal 1988 rose to $1.441 billion from $690 million a year ago. Results for the year include a full-year contribution from the former Goodyear Aerospace Corp., which Loral acquired March 13, 1987. Fourth-quarter earnings rose to $22.7 million, compared to $17.9 million in the year-ago period.
