Rembert Heads County Team for All-Star Game

Forward Kevin Rembert, who played on four Southern Section championship teams at Mater Dei High School, heads an Orange County all-star basketball team that will play a group of Santa Barbara all-stars June 26 at San Marcos High School in Santa Barbara.
The team features six players who have signed with Division I colleges, including Adam Keefe of Woodbridge, who will attend Stanford. Paul Hoover, the Marina High freshman coach, will guide the county team that won last year’s inaugural meeting, 106-90.

Arri Buford (Rancho Alamitos); Steve Guild (Marina); Mike Hopkins (Mater Dei); Rich Hughes (Huntington Beach); Bobby Joyce (Santa Ana); Adam Keefe (Woodbridge); Eric Kutas (Westminster); Scootie Lynwood (Santa Ana); Kevin Rembert (Mater Dei); Char Ruppel (Mater Dei); Joe Small (Bolsa Grande); Chris Tower (Westminster), and David Yamate (Marina).
