Three more people have been arrested in connection with the alleged rape April 24 of a 15-year-old Poway girl on Midland Road.
A woman, a man and an unidentified juvenile were booked on suspicion of rape, rape with a foreign object and aiding and abetting a rape. Monica Acevedo, 18, and Jose Luis Romero, 20, both described as laborers, were arrested Friday after questioning at the sheriff’s station in Poway and are being held on $20,000 bail each, a spokeswoman said. Two men--Leonardo Martinez Cedillo, 21, and Guadalupe Cedillo Martinez pleaded not guilty last week to charges stemming from the case, in which the girl was pulled off a horse behind a market in the 14000 block of Midland Road and allegedly raped by a group of men. The two are being held in County Jail on $75,000 bail.
