Vincent Leads Huskies to Pac-10 Golf Title

ORINDA, Calif. — Washington won its first Pacific 10 golf championship since 1963 Wednesday and the Huskies’ O.D. Vincent took the individual title.
Washington finished with a 54-hole total of 1,104 on the Orinda Country Club course, six strokes better than defending champion Arizona.
Vincent, a sophomore from Palm Desert, Calif., finished with 214, including a 1-under-par 71 in the final round. U.S. Amateur champion Billy Mayfair of Arizona State was ninth with a 224.
Arizona State was third with 1132, followed by Stanford with 1153 and USC with 1154. UCLA was eighth with 1159.
