News from the new fun couple. Pro football’s Mark Gastineau and actress Brigitte Nielsen are expecting a baby, Gastineau said this week. The New York Jets’ defensive lineman, checking into his team’s preseason minicamp Tuesday, said that he and Sylvester Stallone’s ex-wife, whom he has been dating since January, are both delighted. But he wouldn’t divulge the due date, telling reporters, “You can just say . . . that she’s pregnant.” He said the couple would marry as soon as his divorce from his estranged wife, Lisa, becomes final.
