Mater Dei Regains Lead in Prep Poll
Mater Dei High School, after a four-week absence, has regained the top ranking in the Orange County Sportswriters’ Assn. prep baseball poll.
Mater Dei (16-2) replaced El Dorado (18-3) as the top-ranked team after the Golden Hawks lost to fourth-ranked Los Alamitos, 2-0, last week. Los Alamitos defeated El Dorado twice in league play.
