A fire consumed more than 147 acres in Anzo-Borrego State Park in San Diego County before being largely contained by firefighters. The fire burned through vegetation in the desert terrain and watershed in Coyote Canyon, said a California Department of Forestry spokesman. More than 200 firefighters were dispatched to the scene, along with two borate bombers and two helicopters. No structures were threatened by the fire.
