Trio-Tech International Continues to Reduce Losses
Trio-Tech International’s loss in the third quarter ended March 25 narrowed to $25,000, or 1 cent a share, from a loss of $505,000, or 19 cents a share, in the year-earlier quarter. Revenue increased 24% to $4.2 million from a year earlier.
The San Fernando company, which makes semiconductor testing equipment, cited stronger sales in the equipment market and increased activity at its semiconductor testing facilities.
For the nine months, Trio-Tech’s loss narrowed to $203,000, or 7 cents a share, from a loss of $828,000, or 31 cents a share, a year earlier. Revenue rose 8% in the period to $12.2 million from a year earlier.
