Move over, Wally George. Morton Downey Jr., whose New York talk show was recently described in Daily Variety as “TV’s version of the Inquisition,†is coming to Los Angeles on KABC-TV in June. “Downey†as yet has no firm time-slot, but a spokesman connected with the show said the tough-talking grill-sergeant may find a place after Ted Koppel’s “Nightline.â€
