Hawaii, UCSB to Meet for Volleyball Title

The University of Hawaii and UC Santa Barbara, two of the top volleyball teams in the nation, will play tonight at 7:30 in the championship game of the West Regional tournament at UC Irvine’s Bren Center.

Hawaii (24-5), ranked third in the nation, advanced to the final by defeating Pepperdine, 13-15, 15-5, 15-7, 16-18, 15-7, Thursday night at the Bren Center. Santa Barbara (26-20), ranked fourth, defeated defending national champion UCLA, 15-11, 15-13, 15-11, also Thursday.
