WASHINGTON — Patrick Kennedy, youngest son of Sen. Edward M. Kennedy (D-Mass.), has been admitted to Massachusetts General Hospital for “evaluation of headaches and back pains,” the senator’s office said today.
The young Kennedy, almost 21, was visited in the hospital Wednesday by his parents and other members of the family, a spokesman said. The spokesman said no more information was immediately available on Patrick’s condition. His older brother, Edward Jr., had a cancerous leg amputated in November, 1973, when he was 12 years old and has since completely recovered.
