Florida Atty. Gen. Bob Butterworth moved to block the spending of any book or film proceeds by the attorney for killer Roswell Gilbert. In his request filed in Broward County Circuit Court, Butterworth cites a 1977 state law preventing felons from profiting from published accounts of their crimes. Gilbert was convicted in 1985 in the mercy killing of his ailing wife and is serving a life term. A TV movie has been made about the case.
