Jon Peters struck out 15 batters en route to a national high school baseball record for most consecutive career victories by a pitcher.
Mixing a revived fastball with sharp curves, the 17-year-old Brenham (Tex.) High School right-hander claimed his 34th straight victory, beating Conroe Oak Ridge, 5-0, with a one-hitter.
