Hilton Hotels Corp.’s income rose 15% to $27.6 million in the first quarter, paced by strong performances in both hotel and gambling operations. The Beverly Hills company said hotel revenue was up 12% and attributed the gain to completion of large renovation projects. Gambling revenue also rose 12% because of improved performances at the Las Vegas Hilton and Flamingo Hilton, the company said. Total revenue for the quarter was $214.2 million, up from $201.2 million.
