Security Pacific to Lease New Regional Center

A regional headquarters for Security Pacific National Bank is under construction in the South Coast Metro Center off the San Diego Freeway near the Costa Mesa Freeway. The bank is leasing the structure, scheduled to be completed within a year, for $55 million for a 10-year period. It will house about 1,000 bank employees. The cost of building the headquarters has been estimated at $37 million. The 240,000-square-foot building is one of six 12-story towers planned for the center.
