The Peter Burwash International Tennis Show is to tennis what the Harlem Globetrotters are to basketball.
John McEnroe, take note: There is a fun side to the sport. And it will be on display Friday night when the show is performed at the Ojai Valley Inn tennis center for the benefit of the Ojai Children’s Home Society.
The show, which has traveled to 94 countries, combines tennis instruction with humor and showmanship.
Tickets are $6 and can be purchased at the tennis center or from Ojai Children’s Home Society. Persons under 17 years old receive free admission.
Burwash is considered one of the world’s top teaching professionals. On Saturday, he will team with Ted Murray, the former national junior coach for India, for a free juniors clinic.
Advance registration is required. Information: 646-4407.
