PERTH, Australia — Emergency teams flew to Australia’s Indian Ocean territory of Christmas Island on Tuesday to repair extensive storm damage. Cyclones and high seas hit the phosphate-rich island over the weekend, cutting water and electricity supplies and severely damaging buildings, including the island’s hospital.
