Starlites Play Volleyball at Golden West

The Los Angeles Starlites play host to the San Jose Golddiggers tonight in a women’s Major League Volleyball match tonight at Golden West College at 7:30 p.m.
Los Angles has been playing its home matches at Loyola Marymount University, but is moving some dates to Golden West in hopes of attracting larger crowds.
The Starlites (7-1) are led by Debbie Green, Jeanne Beauprey and Rita Crockett, who were all members of the U.S. women’s volleyball team that won the silver medal at the 1984 Summer Olympics.
Al Gasparian, coach of the Starlites, is also the men’s and women’s volleyball coach at Golden West.
Tickets are $5 for general admission and $3 for students. The Starlites will also play at Golden West, April 8, April 16, May 1 and May 8.
