Shareholders attending what could be Firestone Tire & Rubber Co.’s last annual meeting voted to shorten the company’s name but had little to say about Bridgestone Corp.’s bid for the Akron, Ohio-based tire maker. Stockholders will meet again April 25 to vote on Bridgestone’s offer to pay $80 a share, or $2.6 billion, for Firestone’s outstanding shares.
