The family of a woman who died when she fell from her seat on the Matterhorn bobsled ride at Disneyland and was struck by an oncoming car agreed to a settlement, just as jury selection in the family’s suit against the amusement park was to begin in Orange County Superior Court. The family of Regena Young, 48, of Fremont, had sued the park for $5 million after her death four years ago. As part of the settlement, all parties agreed not to discuss its terms.
