In another firing, Craig Littlepage lost his job as Rutgers’ basketball coach in a season in which the Scarlet Knights matched a school record for losses.
Rutgers finished 7-22, equaling the 1954-55 record for defeats in a season. Littlepage had a 26-63 record during his three seasons, 12-47 in the Atlantic 10 Conference.
