San Gabriel Valley : 500 Summer Jobs Offered

Low-income youths aged 14 to 21 who are residents of Pasadena, Monrovia, Arcadia, Duarte, South Pasadena and Sierra Madre are eligible for summer jobs through the Summer Youth Employment Program sponsored by the Foothill Area Private Industry Council.
Applications for the 500 summer jobs are available at Pasadena, Monrovia, Arcadia, Duarte, South Pasadena and Sierra Madre libraries and at the Jackie Robinson, Villa Park and Victory Park centers in Pasadena, the Monrovia Community Center, South Pasadena and Arcadia high schools and Duarte and Sierra Madre city halls.
The program accepts students on a first-come, first-served basis. Most job assignments begin July 5. For more information, call (818) 405-8081.
