United Education Buys an ITT Technical School

United Education & Software said it bought a technical school in Chicago from the education-services subsidiary of ITT Corp., for an undisclosed price.
It was the seventh acquisition in the past five months for United Education, based in Encino, an education services and computer software concern that now operates 33 technical schools.
The school acquired from New York-based ITT provides classes in auto repair, electronics and drafting.
