Van Nuys Man Strikes Deal for Fresno Team
- Share via
A firm headed by a Van Nuys man on Friday acquired the Fresno Suns baseball team of the Class-A California League. The Suns, formerly named the Giants, are a co-op team that will stock its roster from players on loan from major-league organizations.
CST Sports, Inc., of which Dave Kramer is president, bought the team from Consolidated Sports Holdings Ltd., a Canadian group that had owned the team since October.
A team spokesman said that there are no plans to move the team from Fresno.
