Calabasas 1, Santa Paula 0--The Coyotes (11-4-2, 4-1 in league play), ranked No. 2 in the Southern Section 1-A Division coaches poll, defeated No. 1 Santa Paula (4-1 in league play) in a Frontier League game at Calabasas.
Junior Pete Mattson scored the lone goal 19 minutes into the second half.
WRESTLING
El Segundo 36, Chaminade 33--Chaminade won 5 of 9 matches but lost the nonleague match because of three forfeits.
